University of Toronto
The University of Toronto is located in the heart of the provincial capital, and is home to 40 varsity teams which compete across both provincial and national conferences. As a school, U of T was established in 1827, with more than 660,600 alumni in more than 190 countries and territories, and currently has over 52,000 undergraduate and over 16,000 graduate students between three campuses (University of Toronto – St. George, University of Toronto – Scarborough, University of Toronto – Mississauga).
A global leader, the University of Toronto has most recently been ranked 1st in Canada and 2nd in the world for sustainability (QS Ranking 2022), Top 5 in the world in research citations (IncitesTM 2016-2020), 11th in the world for graduate employability (Times Higher Education 2022).
